CHARLIE BROOKER - ARE WE TELEPATHIC?

Tonight on Channel 4, as part of a series, Black Mirror, there is a play by Charlie Brooker called 'Be Right Back' which follows what happens after the death of Ash , the boyfriend of Martha. Sunday Times Culture magazine says of the play: Told at the funeral about software that will alow a simulated Ash to reply to her emails and phone calls, Martha tries it out and becomes addicted.

By the time you read this the transmission of the play will probably be in the past - and I haven't seen it yet (I'm writing this at 6.52 pm). However it does strike me that a post of mine of 5 March 2011 will probably have a certain resonance for anyone who sees or saw the TV play.
