Welcome

This is a collection of written pieces that comes from things I’ve thought and experienced; occasionally they are illustrated with photos that I’ve taken. They are here because I want people to enjoy them. This is a sort of print performance and as with other kinds of performance it is a meaningless exercise without an audience. So be my audience ...

POEM - DREAMING OF ILLEGAL ELDERBERRIES

Gather illegal elderberries.

Step through the misty frame

Into the new land

Where black pearls grow

That you must not touch.

The long toothed tiger leaps

To defend the tumid fruit

Roaring his warning

And you can’t move;

Your legs are jelly.

Fly up until you soar

Above the map of London.

Hold up by virtue of your will

And feel the power,

Then fall until you wake.
