Welcome

This is a collection of written pieces that comes from things I’ve thought and experienced; occasionally they are illustrated with photos that I’ve taken. They are here because I want people to enjoy them. This is a sort of print performance and as with other kinds of performance it is a meaningless exercise without an audience. So be my audience ...

POEM - SHE CALLED HIM EGG

JULIAN CAEDMON DIGGLE
b. 14 November 1974 d, 11 June 1999
We love you until the end of the counting

She called him Egg

She called him Egg.

Walked in,

Smiled,

Kissed him,

Stroked his hairless head.

Tired from the day,

Radiant nonetheless,

Knelt beside him,

Looked into his eyes,

Remembered long, long lashes.

Felt the pain.

Felt the fear.

Shared the fear.

Held him.

Loved him.

Darling Egg.

For ever.

For ever.

For ever.

For ever.
