Welcome

This is a collection of written pieces that comes from things I’ve thought and experienced; occasionally they are illustrated with photos that I’ve taken. They are here because I want people to enjoy them. This is a sort of print performance and as with other kinds of performance it is a meaningless exercise without an audience. So be my audience ...

MY FAVORITE PHOTOGRAPH OF MINE

This is a photograph of a group of choristers of the King's College Chapel waiting to go to the Chapel. They walk from their school, King's College School, in a line - called a 'croc', to the Chapel. They wear short black gowns and top hats. Their shoes are polished to rival my boots when I did National Service in the RAF. Here they are watching a school cricket match. It was a true 'snap' - up with the Blackberry and click.
