This is a collection of written pieces that comes from things I’ve thought and experienced; occasionally they are illustrated with photos that I’ve taken. They are here because I want people to enjoy them. This is a sort of print performance and as with other kinds of performance it is a meaningless exercise without an audience. So be my audience ...

POEM - ANDREA DWORKIN
I'm going to make myself very unpopular with some people by including this piece which I wrote when the subject was alive. She died about 8 years ago. She was a very high profile feminist and campaigner against pornography. She once said that all men were rapists which I thought at the time was going over the top a bit and she was, to my eyes at least, physically repulsive. I know books shouldn't be judged by their covers and I know that not all women are good to look at and are nonetheless great people deserving of love and respect but did Andrea Dworkin have to take ugliness and grossness so far? In the white heat of anger at being called a rapist by someone who didn't know me I penned the following. It is crude and vulgar and I don't want children to read it but there is a crude and vulgar side to my personality and I just can't help expressing it from time to time.
